LOT Polish Airlines launches a new direct route between Rome Fiumicino Airport and Krakow, offering year-round service with flights operating five days a week. The new connection allows travellers to reach the southern Polish city in just over two hours, with departures scheduled on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
The route operates with midday departures, including flight LO 2142 leaving Rome at 12:40 on Mondays and Fridays and at 13:00 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, arriving in Krakow between 14:45 and 15:05 local time. The airline uses Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft configured with LOT Business Class and LOT Economy Class.
The new service strengthens connectivity between Italy and Poland, expanding travel options for both leisure and business passengers. It also adds to LOT Polish Airlines’ growing presence in Rome, where the carrier already operates two daily non-stop flights to Warsaw, its main global hub.

The launch reflects continued demand for travel between the two countries, with Poland emerging as an important market for Rome. According to airport data, more than 1.6 million passengers travelled between Rome and Poland in 2025.

He added that the new route strengthens economic, cultural and tourism ties between the two countries while supporting the continued growth of Rome’s international traffic.
Krakow, often referred to as Poland’s royal capital, has a population of around 800,000 and is one of the country’s most visited destinations. The city is known for its UNESCO-listed historic centre along the Royal Route, as well as its churches, monasteries and religious landmarks, including the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy.
With onward connections available via Warsaw, passengers can also access LOT Polish Airlines’ wider network across Europe, Central and South Asia, the Far East and North America.
