Valencia’s Circuit Ricardo Tormo has announced its provisional 2026 race calendar, confirming a year-long programme of motorsport and sporting events that will once again place the region at the centre of Europe’s racing scene.
The schedule runs from January through November and culminates on 22 November with the Gran Premio Motul de la Comunitat Valenciana, which will close the MotoGP World Championship.
The circuit said tickets for the MotoGP finale are already on sale via its official website. The 2026 programme includes motorcycle racing, car competitions and mass-participation sporting events, reinforcing the venue’s role as a major attraction for international visitors and motorsport fans.
A packed year at one of Spain’s most important race circuits
Located in Cheste, just outside the city of Valencia, Circuit Ricardo Tormo is best known globally for hosting the final round of the MotoGP season. In 2026, the MotoGP finale remains the centrepiece of the calendar and is expected to draw tens of thousands of spectators, as it often decides the world championship titles. The event also generates significant interest among motorsports fans who follow various racing markets, from MotoGP wagering to nascar betting, with platforms like BetUS sportsbook offering odds and promotions that keep the excitement going both on and off the track.
The season begins on 11 January with a duathlon that combines running and cycling on the circuit layout. February then brings two major car racing events, starting with the Winter Series alongside ROOW on 15 February, followed by the Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe on 21 February, which will see high-performance GT cars compete on the Valencian track.
March introduces Racing Legends on 8 March, an event dedicated to historic vehicles and motorsport heritage, accompanied by activities aimed at fans and families. April is one of the busiest months, featuring the NAPA Racing Weekend on 12 April and the Valencia NASCAR Fest on 19 April, which brings the spectacle of American stock car racing to Spain and remains one of the circuit’s most popular annual events.
Motorcycle racing continues to feature heavily throughout the year. The Copa de Motociclismo FMCV appears three times on the calendar, reflecting the circuit’s commitment to regional and national competition. These events sit alongside international series, creating a programme that blends elite racing with grassroots development.
Motorsport tourism and travel appeal
The calendar also highlights how Circuit Ricardo Tormo has positioned itself as more than a traditional race venue. In May, the Gran Premio Velas Maratón Running transforms the circuit into a running course, opening the venue to amateur athletes and visitors seeking a different way to experience the track.
June features two more motorsport events, with TCR and Volrace on 14 June, followed by another round of the Copa de Motociclismo FMCV on 21 June. After the summer break, attention turns to the next generation of riders, with MotoJunior taking place on 6 September and offering spectators a chance to see young talents aiming to progress to the MotoGP world stage.
The final months of the season include further motorcycle and car racing, with Supercars and ROOW scheduled for 27 September, before the year reaches its climax in November. The MotoGP finale on 22 November is expected to once again transform Valencia into a focal point of global motorsport, drawing fans from across Europe and beyond.
For travellers, the announcement reinforces Valencia’s appeal as a year-round destination. The city combines motorsport with beaches, historic neighbourhoods and a mild Mediterranean climate, making it attractive to visitors planning short breaks around individual events or longer trips built around the MotoGP finale.
With international championships, regional competitions and public sporting events sharing the same calendar, the 2026 schedule underlines Circuit Ricardo Tormo’s evolving role. It serves not only as a stage for championship-deciding moments but also as a hub where sport, tourism and local culture intersect.
