Vivek Kanthan wins the final Formula 4 race of the season opener at Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, leading from pole position to secure his first victory of the campaign. The event forms part of the Epic NAPA Racing Weekend, which features nine races across multiple categories and attracts more than 10,500 fans over the weekend.
The Campos Racing driver dominates the race from start to finish, with Borys Lyzen and Noah Monteiro completing the podium. Rocco Coronel finishes fourth, a result that, combined with his two earlier wins, places him at the top of the championship standings.
The weekend marks the opening round of the Formula 4 Spanish Championship, with three drivers from the Circuit’s Specialized Motor Training Centre competing. Nacho Tuñón finishes inside the top 10, while Aleix Piñera, who secures two podiums in earlier races, ends in 13th place. Sandro Pérez completes the race in 28th position.
Pérez also competes in the Toyota GR Cup, a championship he currently leads. After winning the first race, he finishes eighth in the second, which is won by Marcos de Diego. Valencian driver Marta García makes her debut in the category as a guest driver and finishes seventh.
In the GT-CER category, Yeregui and Carretero take victory in their Ginetta G56, ahead of Brasa and Sanabria in a Porsche 992 GT3. Local driver Manuel Bertonín narrowly misses the podium, finishing fourth in a BMW M4 GT4 EVO. Gustavo Gomar wins the regional championship race driving a Peugeot 308.
Beyond the track action, the Circuit Ricardo Tormo draws more than 10,500 spectators across the weekend, who also take part in activities such as the Pit Lane Walk. The event highlights Valencia’s growing appeal as a motorsport destination, combining competitive racing with fan experiences.
The circuit is set to host another major event next weekend, with the Valencia Nascar Fest bringing the European version of NASCAR and the Spanish Truck Racing Championship to the venue. Tickets are already on sale through the circuit’s official website.
