Aman to Launch Amanvari Resort in Mexico’s Baja California in Spring 2026

Aman will open its newest property, Amanvari, in spring 2026 on the East Cape of Baja California, Mexico.

The 18-key coastal resort and branded residences are set within the Costa Palmas estate and will mark the brand’s debut on Mexico’s Sea of Cortez coastline. Designed to reflect Aman’s signature integration of architecture and environment, Amanvari aims to offer a secluded retreat rooted in nature and privacy.

The resort will include elevated Casitas with panoramic views, a wellness-focused spa, and multiple dining venues. Amanvari will be the sixth Aman property in the Americas and Caribbean, joining a pipeline of upcoming developments such as Aman Beverly Hills and Aman Miami Beach.

Integrated Design and Natural Setting

Architecture in Harmony with the Landscape

Originally designed by Heah & Co. and realized by Elastic Architects, Amanvari is located at the intersection of three ecosystems—beachfront, desert, and estuary. Casitas will sit at an elevated height to capture views of the Sea of Cortez and Sierra de la Laguna mountains. Villas will be positioned along the beach, above sea level, or beside a Robert Trent Jones II-designed golf course within the estate.

The resort’s architectural palette includes white concrete, natural stone, and tropical hardwoods. Interiors will be finished with bespoke ceramics and original works by Mexican artisans. Open-air courtyards and framed views are intended to blend indoor and outdoor spaces throughout the property.

Resort Amenities and Spa Offerings

Amanvari will feature a range of wellness and dining experiences. The Aman Spa will include a temazcal-inspired space, signature Spa Houses, an open-air yoga pavilion, and areas for reflection and healing. Dining options will include Italian, Japanese, and Baja-inspired cuisine using seasonal ingredients.

The resort will be part of Costa Palmas, a 1,500-acre private community with 18 acres of organic orchards, three miles of swimmable beach, a yacht club, and a deep-water marina. Activities available to guests will include snorkeling, diving, hiking, and sailing in the Sea of Cortez region.

Branded Residences and Services

In addition to guest accommodations, Amanvari will offer branded residences for purchase. These homes will include expansive private pools, generous courtyards, and layouts that emphasize indoor-outdoor living. Each residence will feature private entrances and landscaping designed to maintain privacy and seclusion.

Owners will have access to personalized services overseen by the Aman Private Office. This includes 24/7 global support, in-residence dining, housekeeping, and access to private chef and butler services. A bespoke adventure planning service will also be available to residents.

Amanvari continues Aman’s development strategy in North and Central America and will contribute to its portfolio of ultra-luxury resorts globally. The company has confirmed that further details on the launch will be announced ahead of the opening in spring 2026.
