The museum will open to the public on Saturday, May 18, marking International Museum Day. In 2025, Dubai will host the International Council of Museums (ICOM) General Conference, themed ‘The Future of Museums in Rapidly Changing Communities,’ further strengthening the UAE’s cultural leadership.

Last year, Expo City Dubai and Dubai Culture formed a partnership to boost the emirate’s arts and culture scene. This collaboration focuses on empowering creatives, highlighting Emirati heritage, and reinforcing the UAE’s global standing as a creative hub.
